The Best Grilled Fish Steaks Your Loved Ones Will Enjoy

grilled fish steaksThere are so many things that you can do with fish and grilling is one of them. A perfect grill brings out the natural tastiness of your favorite seafood. And though we know that the most popular fishes to grill include tuna, salmon, halibut, mahi-mahi, grouper and swordfish, we bet you still have one question in mind. What’s the best grilled fish recipe so far? So we scoured the internet for the best fish steak recipes and here are some that we found interesting!

1. Grilled Yellow Fin Tuna Nantucket-Style

Prepare four tuna fish steaks that weigh about 10 ounces each and measure about an inch thick. Coat both sides with mayonnaise and season with salt and pepper to taste. Grill the fish over medium heat and let it cook for about 5 minutes before turning. Cook the other side for 3 to 5 minutes until it’s done in your preference.

2. Lemon-Pepper Catfish

Create your marinade by combining lemon juice, melted butter and Worcestershire sauce in a re-sealable bag. Add four catfish steaks and seal the bag. Turn it over to coat the steaks perfectly. Put it in the fridge and let it stay there for about 30 minutes. Once ready for grilling, discard the marinade and sprinkle your fish steaks with salt and lemon-pepper to taste. Grill over medium heat.

3. Grilled Halibut With Herbs

In a mixing bowl, combine basil, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, pepper, salt and parsley. Put your fish steaks in a re-sealable plastic bag and pour the marinade in it. Coat the fish well and refrigerate for an hour. Again, discard the marinade before grilling and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side.

4. Grilled Salmon Steaks

Combine some coriander, fennel, cumin and peppercorns and put them in an aluminum foil pack. Toast them on the grill while shaking the aluminum foil gently. Do so until the ingredients become fragrant. Crush the seeds using a mortar and pestle then put them in a pepper grinder. Now brush your fish with oil lightly, season with salt then season with the seeds that you have made earlier. Grill the fish for about 3 minutes on each side, over medium heat.

5. Grilled Swordfish Steaks With Lemon Oregano

Get a mixing bowl and combine lemon juice, olive oil, lemon zest, thyme, oregano, garlic, dried oregano, black pepper, crushed fennel seeds and salt. Put the fish steaks on a dish and cover them with the marinade. Cover the dish and refrigerate for an hour. Grill for about 5 minutes on one side then turn if there are already grill marks. Cook the other side for a few more minutes.
